Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

For three years in a row these people sold me super sweet 100 tomato's that were NOT SuperSweet100s. Not just that, they also sold me other plants that weren't just labeled wrong but they were mut plants. The ss100 made medium small tomatoes that never got ripe and so on... Don't trust their lables or breeds.

The customer service here is TERRIBLE. I have been trying for over a month to buy the broken, discounted bags of mulch that they have displayed in the parking lot. The workers here act annoyed every single time I ask them a question. And no one even speaks good English. I am all for diversity and inclusion, but there should at least be one person here who can communicate to ppl in English, so that the customers are being helped adequately. I even used Google Translate to help me write a note for them in Spanish requesting help. The note was asking if someone could please call me when the bags are ready to be purchased. The girl replied, β€œWe don’t have a phone.” I have been coming here trying to get help for over a month & no one has been able to help me yet. Terrible unfriendly customer service.

Extremely unwilling to help, even though they knew they have an infestation issue with the plants. Why are these plants being sold to customers? Why are the customers not being advised that there’s an issue with plants and given medicine or treatment for the plants when you’re buying them? It’s unfair to say that all cells are final when you know there’s an ongoing issue that’s false advertisement stealing from the customer. I’m very upset. I want corporate to get in touch with me. I’m requesting that I get to choose two plants of my choice. I want them to be resoiled when I choose them. I also want to be provided treatment just in case the plants are sick again. I do not appreciate the dishonesty when it comes to you being a company and me being a customer. I want someone from the leadership to give me a call on Monday morning and to make me your first priority. For the guy to pick up the bug and try to say that it was rat poop was beyond me until it started moving, and he jumped.

Such a beautiful place! Loved the selection although I don’t think anyone spoke English which was weird but cool with me because I don’t like to talk lol.

Don’t drive right past this fabulous store. It’s very easy to miss and deceptive in size. Massive. Good layout/well organized. Great selection. Good prices. But, your on your own with it comes to customer services. On this Earth Day (Saturday morning)β€” there was only one woman (30s-40s) who was useful. Otherwise, rest of staff 16-25 could not help me whatsoever. Pictures and video don’t do the place justice.
